American actor. There seems to be some debate as to whether or not Joaquin was born with a cleft - some reports say the scar is due to a childhood accident.

Joaquin Phoenix - Cleft
From what I've read, Joaquin Phoenix has a 'microform', which was a cleft lip defect that healed itself in utero, but left a small scar. My daughter and my niece both had such defects.
